1. This scholarship covers 100% of your tuition fee, monthly stipend as well training support grant. There are other training opportunities for your research and career development.
2. Don’t assume because the course of study for the scholarship is sociology and you have a bachelor’s degree in education, therefore, you cannot apply or do not qualify to apply. What’s most important is the research area. If you have an interest in the research area or have done or currently doing something similar you should go for it.
3. Before you apply, read the project details deeply and identify the hook with your current or past engagements (study, job, research etc) then reach out to the contact person on the advert. To do this, you send a cold email to the contact person to express your interest in the project. This email gives your application visibility and might facilitate relationships with your potential supervisor. A sample can be found by clicking on the link at the end of this post.
